Oktoberfest here in Tahoe City is a unique festive fall celebration that welcomes ALL ages. Experience the ultimate lakeside Oktoberfest celebration at Gatekeeper’s Museum/ William B. Layton State Park in Tahoe City, California from 12 to 5 pm on September 20th.

Oktoberfest at Palisades
The Village at Palisades Tahoe comes alive with the 18th annual Oktoberfest on September 27, from noon to 6:00 p.m. The Village will transform into the largest Bavarian playground in North Lake Tahoe, complete with authentic German beer and food, Bavarian music and dance, plus the ever-popular OktoberGames. Enjoy live entertainment by Joe Smiell's 20 Piece Bavarian Band, the Almenrausch Schuhplattler Dance Troop, and the Sierra Alphorns, Alpentanzer Schuhplattler Dance Troop, accompanied by the Alpentanz Kapelle Band throughout the day.
The annual Oktoberfest now features the authentic Erdinger Weissbier, brand new VIP packages, and expanded non-alcoholic options. Authentic Brats, Pretzels, Swiss Slices, and traditional European desserts/pastries plus Root Beer Floats for the kids will be available for purchase.

Made in Tahoe is a vibrant celebration of all things local, showcasing the best that the Lake Tahoe Basin and Truckee areas have to offer. Hosted at The Village at Palisades Tahoe, this event features a diverse range of offerings that are either made or inspired by the community, including local artisans, businesses, chefs, organizations, and entertainers. Immerse yourself in the unique and talented creations of our community, and discover the essence of Tahoe. Additionally, all proceeds from the Made in Tahoe bars will benefit the Tahoe Food Hub, supporting a worthy cause while indulging in the flavors of the region.

Her voice is warm and welcoming—full of stories that hold space for loneliness, connection, transformation, and truth. Megan’s music sits somewhere between cosmic Americana, blues, and alt-country, grounded in grit and grace.
She released her debut EP Salvation in 2021, a spare and intimate collection that explores self-acceptance and growth. Her latest album, That Feelin’, recorded live in Austin with a band of seasoned collaborators, expands that vision. The 12-song collection is an odyssey of self-discovery, mortality, and creative power—with vivid storytelling and raw emotional pull.
